Gifts from the UK // Waze&Odyssey
After the release of their first track Ah Baby (Here We Go Again) in early 2012, Serge Santiago and Firas Waez – better known as Waze & Odyssey – gone from little more than an anonymous SoundCloud account to be one of the most exciting, and talked about, new dance music acts around.
Raised on a diet of US house and soul music, Waze & Odyssey – with their distinctive sound – have truly managed to create something fresh and relaxing.
In these 2 last years, they have released several acclaimed singles that perfectly meet today’s dancefloor standard, remixed acts such as Disclosure and T.E.E.D., DJ’ed all around the world and become a regular feature in shows and clubs all over the world such as the famous Panorama Bar in Berlin.
Supported by underground UK house producer Bicep, their single ‘Love That Burns (Hot Enough)’ became one of the biggest tracks of 2012’s festival season:
Their 2nd single, C’Mon (Body Work Records), was even picked as a DJ Mag ‘Killer Single of the Month’:
They released on labels such as More Music and Scucci Manucci and, last year, they have launched their own label, W&O Street Tracks, working with artists such as Ejeca and Citizen.
No gigs are confirmed for 2014 in Europe but great things and projects are about to come. So, in the meantime, enjoy this great show they recently did at the famous Boiler Room in Berlin and…
