His full name is Suntur Yozanun Wutigonsombutkul.
The longest the name, the highest the amount of talent: this equation seems to be true with this crazy talent from Thailand.
He’s a freelance illustrator, part time Instagram celebrity, part time copywriter, and he recently collaborated with CASIO for G-Shock Bangkok and Beat Hotel Bangkok decorating the walls of their luxury hotel. We decided to feature his immense talent on our Creative Guide for Curious People, where you can find more of his work. In the meantime, check this interview and visit his studio store online!
Your first project, last project and future project: how would you describe them?
The inspiration for each project is different, depending on what I’ve found or seen at that time, and then I keep it in mind to inspire myself.
All my works can always help me improve on the next, by letting me see the good points and bad points to correct, and I can see how to make them better, or explore something further in the next project.
What do you find inspiring and how would you describe your lifestyle?
The inspiration is not fixed, as sometimes it can come from some music or a song, or some story that I heard from the people around me, or it could be from some great moment.
I always observe everything and then mix and match it together, for example, to take the color from a photo and to mix it with a lyric of song that I like.
What would you probably be today if you hadn’t followed your dreams of being an artist, or what is your actual dream?
If I was not drawing I would be a farmer or a gardener, live in a good place with great a environment surrounding me.
I like cooking, and particularly creating a decorative dish, so perhaps I would open a restaurant and let people come and enjoy my food. But I couldn’t live without creating art, so I would have to bring all of my art skills to make very beautiful food!
Artists and events: can you tell us the most interesting that you’ve found/experienced in your career until now?
My greatest experience is always during the time I am drawing. It always makes me happy to see my eyes and hands working together.
I am always very happy to see my drawings completed, so during the time I am closet to finishing something, I am always at my happiest.
The place where you were born, the place where you live, the best place where you traveled with your work: can you tell us something that only you know to describe them?
I was born in Bangkok, Thailand and live here in Bangkok now.
I am a copywriter in an advertising agency and am always able to make my life happy by doing what I love and by living simply.
