SANDRA BOURHANI is a photographer (and designer!) from Bologna, Italy.

The concept of this editorial titled PLASMATIC  is based on the revealing of the essential isolation of the individual, and the troubled relationships. Here’s how she describes her amazing work for Reykjavik Boulevard, and we believe she well represented it:

The composition of this pictures is geometrical, with a sophisticated game of cold lights and “artificial” synthetic details. Every single element in the scene is simple, architectural, with strong verticals and horizontals lines. The scene is often deserted, surrounded by silence. The human figure seems like a robot.

My style is often based on creating an absurd world. I always try to create a cinematographic and pictorial situation, where I would like to show the feelings of the people. All my sets are built to create a magical and fantastical imagery. For me it is important to realize stylish yet visually stunning photographs.
